Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking a remote-based State & Local Government Account Specialist to maintain client relationships and support their needs with accuracy. You will handle AR receivables, account cleansing, and process improvements while partnering with Sales and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years client service experience.
• Experience in account management, contract management, and/or billing reconciliation is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Pivot Tables, and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Act as account expert for Pitney Bowes’ State & Local government clients.
• Prepare and submit accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
• Manage portal billing activities and adhere to portal requirements.
• Perform account maintenance and data cleansing to ensure accurate client information.
• Make informed decisions in line with company policies.
• Manage administrative account cleansing activities including PO and contract review, payment application, and fleet data management.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams to deliver exceptional client support.
• Achieve defined performance standards and productivity metrics.
• Prioritize daily workload to meet SLAs and deadlines.
• Collect past due amounts within the portfolio.
• Support growth initiatives such as automation and self-serve.
• Act as SME for contract review and client onboarding.
