Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a remote-based State & Local Government Account Specialist to manage relationships with large government clients, administer invoices, and support billing reconciliation and data cleansing across systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Sales and internal teams, handling sensitive financial data and supporting automation initiatives while ensuring timely service and high accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years client service experience.
• Prior account management, contract management, and/or billing reconciliation and/or collections is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as account expert and point of contact for large State & Local government clients.
• Prepare and submit accurate invoices.
• Manage portal billing activities and ensure adherence to portal requirements.
• Perform account maintenance and data cleansing across systems.
• Support growth initiatives such as automation and self-serve; provide SME for contract review and onboarding.
• Escalate client issues and provide ad hoc support to the Government team.
