Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring for a remote-based State & Local Government Account Specialist. You will manage large client relationships, handle invoicing, data cleansing, and portal billing while collaborating with Sales and internal teams to meet client needs.

You will support delinquent balances, automate processes, and drive growth initiatives with a client-first attitude. Must be authorized to work in the US and work within EST/CST hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years client service experience.
• Prior account management, contract management, and/or billing reconciliation and collections a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work independently and prioritize daily activities in a team environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred (pivot tables, vlookups).
• Attention to detail; strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as an account expert and point of contact for Pitney Bowes’ large State & Local clients.
• Prepare and submit accurate invoices in a timely manner.
• Manage portal billing activities and ensure adherence to client portal requirements.
• Perform account maintenance and data cleansing for accurate client information.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business units and stakeholders to deliver exceptional client support.
• Consistently achieve established performance standards, KPIs, and productivity metrics.
• Prioritize and organize daily workload to meet SLAs and deadlines.
• Collect past due accounts within the State & Local Government portfolio.
• Support growth initiatives including automation, digital acceleration, and self-serve.
• Serve as SME for contract review and client onboarding.
