Akumin seeks a Staff Accountant – Accounting and Financial Reporting to support monthly and quarterly close. You will prepare financial statements, footnotes, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), about 2–3 years of related experience, and strong Excel skills. CPA license is preferred; remote-friendly environment with flexible scheduling.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• CPA licensure is required or in process.
• Proficiency in Excel including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting package for internal use.
• Record journal entries for general ledger accounts and assets.
• Review ledgers for propriety and reconcile balance sheets.
• Assist daily cash management and treasury reporting.
• Support annual financial audits.
