Job summary

Akumin is a leading provider of outpatient radiology and oncology services. The Staff Accountant – Accounting and Financial Reporting supports monthly and quarterly close, prepares financial statements and footnotes, and handles journal entries and reconciliations to ensure accurate reports.

Position requires a Bachelor's degree, 2–3 years of related experience, and strong Excel skills; CPA is a plus. The role includes assisting with audits and quarterly investor reporting, with competitive

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2–3 years of related experience and/or training.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, management discussion and analysis and investor reporting.
Prepare monthly financial reporting packet for internal reporting.
Prepares and posts monthly standard and adjusting journal entries; records transactions to the general ledger.
Review general ledger accounts for propriety, investigate discrepancies, and prepare correcting entries.
Assist with daily cash management and treasury reporting.
Assists in the annual financial audits.
