American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Sourcing Sales Executive (SSE) to lead meetings and events sales with a focus on venue sourcing across North America. You will hunt prospects, grow a pipeline, and directly manage venue sourcing activity while working remotely as a full-time team member.

You will negotiate group hotel contracts, provide savings reports, and maintain client relationships. A strong track record in sales and negotiations is required; CMP is ideal but not

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proactive sales experience in hotel, DMC, or venue sourcing.
• Flexibility to work remotely as a full-time employee.
• Proven track record in negotiations and closing.
• Consistent history of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to articulate value propositions to clients.
• Ability to get results and lead change.
• Strong financial competence.
• Strong networking and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting for new business and building a sales portfolio.
• Retaining customers through relationship management.
• Growing reach within client companies via referrals and presentations.
• Providing consultative guidance for venue sourcing decisions.
• Negotiating hotel contracts to protect client interests and drive savings.
• Showcasing contract savings through reports when needed.
• Maintaining data in CRM and sourcing tools.
• Following up on new business leads proactively.
