Job summary

Amex GBT in the United States is seeking a Sourcing Sales Executive to lead meetings and events sales with a focus on venue sourcing revenue across North America. You will develop, implement, and manage relationships for small to enterprise clients, hunting prospects, building a pipeline, and managing venue sourcing activity.

This remote, full-time role offers a base salary with uncapped commissions, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401k.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of proactive sales experience in hotel/DMC/venue sourcing or related meetings & events roles.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting for new business is a key component of this role.
• Retaining your customer portfolio through strong relationship management.
• Growing reach within customer’s company via referrals and presentations.
• Providing consultative guidance in site selection services.
• Negotiating group hotel contracts to protect customer interests and drive savings.
• Showcasing value with contract savings reports as needed.
• Maintaining data in CRM and Sourcing tools.
• Proactively following up on leads.
