Amex GBT in the United States is seeking a Sourcing Sales Executive (SSE) to lead meetings and events sales with a focus on venue sourcing. You will develop, implement, and manage relationships for small to enterprise clients across North America, aiming to grow a strong pipeline and close contracts.

The role offers a base salary with uncapped commission, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to contribute to savings for clients through venue sourcing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proactive sales experience in hotel, DMC, or venue sourcing.
• Ability to work remotely and full-time.
• Proven track record in sales negotiations and closing.
• Consistent history of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Skilled at articulating value propositions to clients.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business and build a sales portfolio.
• Retain customers through strong relationship management.
• Grow reach within client companies via referrals and presentations.
• Provide consultative guidance on site selection services.
• Negotiate group hotel contracts to protect client interests.
• Show contract savings reports as needed.
• Maintain data in sourcing tool and CRM.
• Follow up on business leads.
