Amex GBT is seeking a Sourcing Sales Executive to lead meetings and events sales with a focus on venue sourcing across North America. You will develop, implement, and manage relationships for small to enterprise clients, with remote flexibility and uncapped commission potential.

The role offers base pay plus commission, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, 401k, PTO, and stock purchase options. Prior hotel/DMC/venue sourcing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proactive sales experience in hotel sales, DMC sales, or venue sourcing.
• Willingness to work remotely and full-time.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close sales.
• Track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Strong networking and collaborative skills.
• CMP is ideal but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting for new business and building a sales portfolio.
• Retaining your customer portfolio through relationship management.
• Growing reach within client companies via referrals and presentations.
• Providing consultative guidance for venue sourcing decisions.
• Negotiating contracts to protect customer interests and savings.
• Showing value with contract savings reports as needed.
• Maintaining data in CRM and sourcing tool.
