Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the East Coast (Remote) to join our Commercial Solutions Engineering team. You will educate customers through demos, enablement, and technical evaluations while partnering with Sales to close opportunities.

This remote-first role requires strong communication, proven pre-sales experience with open source/monitoring tech, and the ability to work with a global, international team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, preferably with Open Source technologies and metrics/monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication for collaborating with remote teams.
• Startup mindset with collaboration and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Join as an early member of a high growth team solving technical and customer problems.
• Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
• Own the technical engagement and help close high-velocity opportunities with credibility and knowledge.
• Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Proactively communicate feedback to customers and internal teams about product and competition.
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs learned during interactions.
• Contribute to documentation, blog posts, videos, and public/internal enablement materials.
