Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer to join our remote-first team. You’ll educate customers, partner with Sales, and own the technical engagement to close opportunities in a high-growth environment.

You’ll present demos, run evaluations, and translate customer needs into product feedback for Engineering. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in technical pre-sales, familiarity with Open Source or monitoring, and excellent written and spoken communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
• Experience with Open Source technologies.
• Experience in the Metrics/Monitoring space.
• Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership.
• Remote-first collaboration across international teams.

Responsibilities

• Join as an early member of a high growth team
• Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers
• Own the technical engagement with customers and help close high-velocity opportunities through advanced knowledge and credibility
• Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers
• Proactively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide a feedback loop on products and the competitive landscape
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs and learnings
• Create enablement material and contribute to documentation, blog posts, and knowledge bases
