Cribl, a remote‑first data observability company, seeks a Solutions Engineer in the United States. You’ll engage in pre‑sales, demonstrate the Cribl product, and guide customers through proof‑of‑concept sessions, acting as a trusted technical advisor across environments including AWS, Azure, and on‑prem.

Successful candidates have a background in Sales Engineering, IT Operations or Security, and can travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Experience with Logs, Metrics, IT Operations and Security Background of successfully selling deals to SLED customers.
• Background in Sales Engineering, Professional Services, or Support.
• Experience working with multiple environments (AWS, Azure, on‑prem) and operating systems (proficiency with Linux a must).
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Regex, and KQL.
• Prior Cribl product experience. Even better if you have feedback!
• Experience working remotely with travel to support in‑person meetings and events
• You reside in the Southeast or Midwest United States

Responsibilities

• Help customers understand Cribl value during the sales process.
• Demo the product suite and answer technical questions during pre-sales motions.
• Lead the proof-of-concept experience through guided sessions with prospects.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to existing customers, understanding their environment and how Cribl can continuously add value.
• Travel up to 30% to support customers and marketing events.
• Document interesting domain use cases in blog posts and product documentation
