Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Consultant to drive technical leadership in customer environments, ensuring value realization and end-to-end ownership across the lifecycle. You will evangelize our security solutions, align customer priorities with our portfolio, and lead complex validation efforts to secure wins.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Partners, travel up to 50%, and shape outcomes for large, multi-regional accounts.

Qualifications

• 6+ years technical pre-sales experience required; demonstrated success selling, implementing, or managing SaaS offerings strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to influence and gain buy-in from key stakeholders in customer-facing engagements.
• Experience independently creating and delivering customized technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements across varied environments for strategic customer accounts.
• Demonstrated technical expertise or experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, SASE, or AI Security.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans for complex engagements.
• Conduct advanced discovery to align technical and operational priorities with customer goals.
• Build C-level relationships to establish PANW as a trusted security partner and drive a transformation roadmap.
• Position and demonstrate high-level designs across PANW portfolio to create business value for large enterprises.
• Lead complex technical validation efforts tailored to customer environments to achieve technical wins.
• Promote integrated solutions including PANW technologies and collaborate with Professional Services for expanded outcomes.
• Serve as primary technical advisor for assigned accounts, ensuring deployment readiness and ongoing health.
• Monitor customer usage and outcomes to identify optimization opportunities and guide continued value adoption.
