Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) to lead testing efforts for critical healthcare applications in a remote role supporting the VA.

Qualifications

• Experience testing in healthcare/government/regulatory environments.
• Experience creating detailed test plans, scenarios, scripts, and cases.
• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Ability to validate database updates and data integrity.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Support testing and QA activities for mission-critical healthcare applications in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache.
• Support modernization, enhancements, interoperability initiatives, and production support for legacy systems.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, scripts, and procedures.
• Validate software enhancements, maintenance releases, defects, and upgrades.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
• Verify data integrity across legacy healthcare apps and external systems.
• Test HL7, FHIR, EDI, and related healthcare interoperability transactions.
• Participate in Beta/IOC testing and document results.
