Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) to lead testing efforts for mission-critical healthcare systems in a remote capacity. The role supports VA initiatives across legacy and modernized environments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software testing, deep MUMPS/InterSystems Cache experience, and strong leadership skills to mentor junior testers while coordinating with developers, analysts, and end users. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Experience testing in healthcare/government environments.
• Experience with MUMPS/InterSystems Cache.
• Experience developing test plans, scenarios, and scripts.
• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
• Strong documentation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts for MUMPS/Cache applications.
• Validate software enhancements and defect fixes across legacy systems.
• Coordinate functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing activities.
• Verify data integrity and HL7/FHIR interfaces and EDIs.
• Lead testing efforts and mentor junior testers.
