Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Sleep Coach to support patients starting CPAP therapy. This remote-based role involves guiding patients, educating them about therapy, and helping build adherence habits during the first year of treatment.

You will use usage data and coaching techniques to address barriers, explain equipment and insurance requirements, and ensure a positive patient experience while working independently and staying connected with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with patients diagnosed with OSA is preferred.
• Experience working with various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, Medicare) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to patients during their first full year of CPAP therapy.
• Conduct inbound and outbound calls to coach, educate, and encourage patients.
• Help patients identify barriers to therapy use and provide practical tools to overcome them.
• Review patient usage data and guide data-driven conversations.
• Educate patients about insurance requirements, equipment cleaning, and resupply needs.
• Document patient interactions and next steps in the patient account.
