Job summary

Accendra Health seeks a Sleep Coach to maximize CPAP therapy outcomes for patients remotely during their first year of treatment. You will connect with patients, guiding them through adherence and understanding of therapy.

You will educate patients on equipment, insurance requirements, cleaning, resupply, and the use of manufacturer apps while documenting interactions and ensuring privacy. Join a nationally distributed team that values clear communication, empathy, and collaborative

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with patients diagnosed with OSA preferred.
• Experience with various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, Medicare) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to and respond to patients during their first full year of CPAP therapy.
• Conduct inbound and outbound calls to coach, educate, and encourage patients as they adjust to CPAP therapy.
• Help patients identify barriers to using their therapy consistently and provide practical tools to overcome them.
• Review patient usage information through manufacturer software and guide data-driven conversations.
• Use knowledge of obstructive sleep apnea to help patients understand benefits of consistent use.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for PAP and mask equipment and teach proper usage.
• Encourage patients to download and use manufacturer mobile applications.
• Educate patients about insurance requirements, equipment cleaning, and future resupply needs.
• Verify patient demographics, physician information, and communication preferences.
• Accurately document patient interactions and next steps.
• Share ideas to improve patient experience and support growth.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.
