Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Remote Sleep Coach to guide patients through CPAP therapy during their first year. You will educate patients on therapy, equipment, insurance, and resupply, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and documenting interactions. This remote role emphasizes independent work with team collaboration.

The position focuses on personalized coaching, data-driven conversations, and helping patients build adherence and healthy sleep habits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with patients diagnosed with OSA is preferred.
• Experience with various insurance plans (HMO, PPO, and Medicare) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to and respond to patients during their first full year of CPAP therapy.
• Conduct inbound and outbound calls to coach, educate, and encourage patients as they adjust to CPAP therapy.
• Help patients identify barriers to using their therapy consistently and provide practical tools to overcome them.
• Review patient usage information through manufacturer software and guide data-driven conversations.
• Explain obstructive sleep apnea and benefits of consistent use to patients.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for PAP equipment and proper usage guidance.
• Educate patients about insurance requirements, cleaning, and resupply needs.
• Document patient interactions and next steps in the patient account.
