Job summary

North American Slate, the American subsidiary of a leading slate producer, is seeking a Sales Representative to identify new customers, negotiate terms, and manage the full sales lifecycle across the Southeast region (GA, NC, SC, VA, TN). Expect ~50% travel, base pay 65,000–100,000 with bonus potential, and medical/dental benefits.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing or related field and at least three years of outside sales experience, preferably in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three years of outside sales experience preferred (construction-related a plus).
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills essential.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%+ to meet customers and projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers and build lasting partnerships.
• Meet contractors, suppliers, and architects; negotiate pricing, terms, and concessions.
• Manage entire sales cycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Provide reporting on sales and project oversight to leadership.
• Forecast pipelines to reach sales targets and manage leads and logistics.
