Job summary

North American Slate is seeking a Regional Sales Representative for slate roofing across the GA/NC/SC/TN/VA region. You will identify and prospect customers, meet contractors, suppliers and architects, and manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.

With a minimum three years of outside sales experience (construction preferred), a bachelor’s degree, and a willingness to travel up to 50%, you will build lasting partnerships and deliver sales forecasts, while providing leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• Three years of outside sales experience, preferably construction-related.
• Travel up to 50% of the time and ability to meet with clients on site.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers, building lasting partnerships.
• Meet contractors, suppliers, and architects; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Provide reporting to leadership on sales and project oversight.
• Forecast and monitor pipeline to reach sales targets.
• Manage leads in territory, coordinate logistics and samples.
• Estimate, quote and analyze costs to competitively sell slate products.
• Ongoing account management including post-sale support.
