Job summary

North American Slate seeks a results-driven Sales Representative to expand its contractor, supplier and architect network across the Southeast region. You will manage the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting to close, and deliver quarterly forecasts to leadership.

Travel up to 50% is required as you build lasting partnerships, quote costs, present slate products, and drive targets in a competitive market. Competitive base salary plus bonus and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• Three years of outside sales experience, preferably construction-related.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across GA/SE region.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers and build lasting partnerships.
• Meet contractors, suppliers, and architects; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.
• Provide regular reporting to leadership on sales and projects.
• Forecast and monitor pipeline to hit sales targets.
• Manage leads, send information and samples, coordinate logistics.
• Estimate, quote and analyze costs for slate products.
• Develop ongoing account management and post-sale follow-up.
