Job summary

North American Slate is seeking a field sales professional to drive growth across the Southeastern region of the United States. The role targets Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee, with substantial travel expected to meet contractors, architects, and suppliers.

The position offers a base salary of $65,000 to $100,000 with bonus remuneration based on sales targets and a benefits package including medical and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing or related field.
• At least 3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in construction.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet customers in the SE region.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers and build lasting partnerships.
• Meet contractors, suppliers, and architects and negotiate within pricing and terms.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.
• Provide regular reporting on sales and project oversight to leadership.
• Forecast projects and monitor the sales pipeline to hit targets.
• Handle leads, send information, samples, and coordinate logistics.
