Job summary

North American Slate is seeking a Sales Representative to grow our premium slate products across the Southeast region. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of outside sales experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and a passion for relationship-building with contractors, architects and suppliers.

Role includes managing the full sales cycle, forecasting, and extensive travel up to 50%. Base salary ranges from $65,000 to $100,000 with bonus potential; medical and dental benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Three years of outside sales experience, preferably construction-related.
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and extensive face-to-face engagements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers and build lasting partnerships.
• Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Provide project sales forecasting and maintain pipeline visibility.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and concessions within the framework.
• Report regularly to leadership on sales performance and forecasts.
