Job summary
Providence is seeking a Service Engineer II IS - Remote to collaborate with developers, testers, and program managers to design, operate, and improve large-scale services for caregivers. You will analyze service delivery, troubleshoot issues, participate in disaster recovery, and ensure reliable, secure production solutions while monitoring KPIs and capacity requirements.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of experience, with familiarity in web services,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent combination.
- 2+ years related experience in service engineering.
- Experience in automation for deployment or recovery processes.
- Experience with n-tier solutions.
- Experience with resilience modeling and simulating outages.
Responsibilities
- Understand caregiver, business, and technical needs to design service components.
- Analyze current delivery system and propose improvements to meet KPIs.
- Troubleshoot and engineer solutions to restore service quickly.
- Participate in disaster recovery drills and incident response when needed.
- Collect metrics to support service intelligence analysis.
