Job summary

Providence is hiring a Service Engineer II IS for a remote role. You will design, operate, and improve large-scale, computer-based services in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers.

Responsibilities include analyzing service delivery, troubleshooting, disaster recovery participation, capacity analysis, and ensuring reliable, secure production solutions while meeting KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years related experience.
• Automation experience with deployment or recovery processes.
• Experience with n-tier solutions.
• Experience in resilience modeling and simulating outages.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and contribute to service architecture meeting KPIs.
• Analyze current service delivery and propose improvements.
• Troubleshoot and engineer solutions to restore service with minimal disruption.
• Participate in disaster recovery drills and incident response as needed.
• Provide data analysis on capacity and KPI trends for cost modeling.
• Ensure production solutions are reliable, secure and monitored.
