Job summary
Providence Shared Services seeks a Service Engineer to partner with developers and managers to design, operate and improve large-scale services for caregivers. You will analyze delivery systems, troubleshoot outages, and participate in incident response to ensure reliable, cost-effective operations and compliant performance.
Strong communication is essential, with a background in Windows Server environments and cloud technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years related experience.
- Automation experience in deployment, recovery or related processes.
- Experience with n-tier solutions.
- Experience with resilience modeling and simulating outages.
Responsibilities
- Understand requirements and contribute to service architecture and KPIs.
- Analyze current service delivery and propose improvements to meet KPIs.
- Troubleshoot and engineer solutions to restore service with minimal disruption.
- Participate in disaster recovery drills and incident response as needed.
- Analyze data for capacity planning and cost model viability.
- Ensure production solutions are reliable, secure and well-monitored.
- Collect metrics to support service intelligence analyses.
