Job summary

HR Green, Inc. is seeking a Senior Workday Integration Developer to own and evolve our Workday integration portfolio.

You will manage custom Studio integrations and connectors, transition ownership from an implementation partner, and support production environments across HR, payroll, and finance systems. You will also lead AI-driven integration work, build secure API connectors, and collaborate with specialists on larger deployments as our program grows.

Qualifications

Five+ years developing and supporting system integrations, including three+ years building Workday integrations in production with Studio development.
Experience consuming REST and SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and token-based/OAuth 2.0 authentication.
Hands-on with XML/XSLT and at least one programming language; strong source control and code review.
Ability to explain technical issues and trade-offs clearly to non-technical partners.
Interest in applying AI and automation platforms to business problems; experience with enterprise copilot/agent tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead transition of Workday integrations from partner to internal ownership, including knowledge transfer and monitoring setups.
Provide primary production support for payroll-impacting integrations and maintain integration inventory and docs.
Design, build, test, and deploy Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and related integrations with REST APIs.
Improve error handling, logging, and notifications to prevent payroll or onboarding disruptions.
Plan and execute integration regression testing for Workday releases and system upgrades.
Develop and maintain AI agents and connectors, ensuring secure API access and lifecycle management.
