Job summary

HR Green, Inc. is seeking a Senior Workday Integration Developer to own and expand our Workday integration portfolio.

This in-house role covers end-to-end ownership, production support, and evolving integrations as systems change, with a focus on secure, scalable solutions. You will lead the transition from external partners to internal ownership, support payroll-related feeds, and contribute to the firm-wide AI program, building new AI agents and connectors alongside external specialists as

Qualifications

• Five or more years developing and supporting system integrations, incl. three+ years Workday integrations in production with hands-on Studio development
• Experience consuming REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and OAuth 2.0 authentication
• Ability to own integrations built by others and operate them reliably, including troubleshooting across systems
• Knowledge of secure development practices and source-control processes

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of Workday integrations from the implementation partner to internal ownership, including knowledge transfer and monitoring setup
• Serve as the primary production support resource for payroll-impacting feeds and maintain the integration inventory
• Design, build, test, and deploy Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and REST API integrations
• Mature error handling, batch tracking, logging, and notifications to prevent payroll issues
• Plan and run integration regression testing for Workday releases and upgrades
• Maintain and adapt AI agents and their integrations, ensuring secure, maintainable criteria
• Build new agents, automate processes, and work with external specialists as needed
• Follow HR Green change-management, release and source-control processes; some after-hours work may be required
• Perform other duties as assigned
