Job summary

HR Green, Inc. is seeking a Senior Workday Integration Developer to own and evolve its internal Workday integration portfolio.

You will connect HR, payroll, and finance data with key enterprise systems using Workday Studio and related tooling, taking over from a partner and expanding capabilities as the program grows. The role involves building secure integrations, supporting payroll-sensitive feeds, and leading AI-enabled automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Five+ years developing and supporting system integrations, with 3+ years Workday integrations in production
• Experience taking ownership of integrations built by others and operating them reliably
• Experience consuming REST and SOAP APIs, JSON and XML, with token-based and OAuth 2.0 auth
• Proficiency in XML/XSLT and at least one general-purpose language, plus source control
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to business partners
• Interest in applying AI and automation platforms to business problems
• Experience with ERP/payroll/benefits integrations is preferred
• Workday integration certification or equivalent training is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of Workday integrations from partner to internal ownership, including knowledge transfer and monitoring setup
• Provide primary production support for payroll-impacting feeds and maintain integration inventory
• Design, build, test, and deploy Workday Studio and related integrations
• Enhance error handling, reporting, and monitoring to prevent payroll disruptions
• Plan and run integration regression testing for Workday releases
• Build AI agents and integrations, ensuring secure connectors and lifecycle management
• Follow secure development, change-control, and release processes; some after-hours support
