Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to serve as a pre-sales technical architect and proposal writer across IT service lines. This remote, full-time role partners with Business Development, Capture, and Delivery to translate client requirements into winning solutions in ITSM, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, AMS/ASO, and Cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pre-sales/solutions architecture, strong written skills, and the ability to present to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years in IT services with significant experience evaluating RFPs and creating SOWs, in pre-sales or proposal roles.
• Ability to design and articulate solutions across ITSM/ITIL, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, AMS/ASO, Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), and Infrastructure/Network services.
• Proven track record writing technical proposal content for government and/or commercial RFPs.
• Strong understanding of managed services delivery models, staffing/pricing constructs, and SLA design.
• Significant experience in written and verbal communications; fluency in English with high proficiency in articulating strategy to executive audiences.
• Ability to summarize technical material and present with charts/diagrams; strong visual design skills.
• Power user of Microsoft Word and Office products.
• Experience working cross-functionally with capture managers, proposal writers, delivery leads, and partner/alliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and qualify opportunities for new business, leveraging CAI collateral and developing new lines of business.
• Lead solution architecture for pre-sales pursuits, translating RFP/RFI requirements into differentiated technical and staffing solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop CAI strategy for a given pursuit.
• Design end-to-end solutions across ITSM/ITIL processes, ServiceNow, Atlassian/JSM, AMS/ASO, Cloud architectures, and Infrastructure.
