Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to serve as a pre-sales technical architect and proposal writer across core IT service lines, including ITSM, ServiceNow, Atlassian/Jira Service Management, and Cloud. This hands‑on, client‑facing role translates client requirements into winning, technically sound solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years in IT services with experience evaluating RFPs and creating SOWs, in a pre-sales or proposal role.
• Ability to design and articulate solutions across ITSM/ITIL, ServiceNow, Atlassian/Jira Service Management, Cloud, and Infrastructure.
• Proven track record writing technical proposal content for government and/or commercial RFPs.
• Fluency in English with ability to present to executives; strong written/verbal communication.
• Proficiency with MS Word and office productivity tools.
• Experience collaborating with capture managers, proposal writers, delivery leads, and partner teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate opportunities for new business and develop supporting collateral.
• Lead solution architecture for pre‑sales pursuits and translate RFP/RFI requirements into solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to shape CAI strategy for pursuits.
• Design end‑to‑end ITSM/Service Desk/ServiceNow/Atlassian/JSM and Cloud solutions.
• Develop approach, diagrams, and executive summaries for proposals.
• Write and edit proposal content, staffing models, and pricing assumptions.
• Lead or support solutioning workshops with capture and delivery teams.
• Collaborate with partner/alliance teams to incorporate platform capabilities.
• Identify cost items, document assumptions, and manage risk in proposals.
• Develop reusable solution assets and support BAFOs and executive briefings.
