Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to act as a pre-sales technical architect and proposal writer across ITSM, ServiceNow, Atlassian/Jira Service Management, and cloud/infrastructure services. This remote, full-time role partners with Business Development, Capture, and Delivery leadership to translate client requirements into winning technical solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of experience in IT services, with significant experience evaluating RFPs and creating SOWs, and time spent in a pre-sales, solutions architecture, or proposal development role.
Demonstrated ability to design and articulate solutions across ITSM/ITIL, Service Desk, ServiceNow, Atlassian/Jira Service Management, AMS/ASO, Cloud (AWS/Azure), and Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and qualify opportunities for new business and support new lines of business.
Lead solution architecture for pre-sales pursuits translating RFP/RFI requirements into technical, staffing solutions.
Partner with stakeholders to develop and evaluate CAI strategy for a given pursuit.
Design end-to-end solutions across ITSM/ITIL processes and platforms (ServiceNow, Atlassian/JSM).
Develop approaches to position CAI as the preferred vendor and produce high-level diagrams and presentations.
Write and edit proposal content including technical narratives, staffing plans, and pricing assumptions.
Lead or support solutioning workshops with capture teams and subject matter experts.
Collaborate with partner/alliance teams to incorporate platform capabilities and co-sell opportunities.
Contain solution risk by documenting assumptions and favorable interpretations of requirements.
Develop reusable solution assets and past-performance narratives.
Support orals/BAFO, client presentations, and executive briefings.
