Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to serve as a pre-sales technical architect and proposal writer across IT service lines, including ITSM, ServiceNow, Atlassian/Jira, AMS/ASO, Cloud, and Infrastructure. This role is remote and full-time, collaborating with BD, capture, and delivery leadership to translate client requirements into winning, technically sound solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field
• 5+ years in IT services with RFP/SOW experience and pre-sales or proposal roles
• Ability to design solutions across ITSM, Service Desk, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, AMS/ASO, Cloud, and Infrastructure
• Proven ability to write technical proposal content for government or commercial RFPs
• Strong understanding of managed services delivery, staffing/pricing, and SLAs
• Fluent English with ability to present to executive and non-technical audiences
• Ability to create visuals (diagrams, charts) to explain concepts
• Experience working with capture managers, proposal writers, and delivery leads

Responsibilities

• Evaluate opportunities for new business and develop supporting CAI collateral
• Serve as lead solution architect for pre-sales pursuits translating RFP requirements into technical solutions
• Partner with stakeholders to develop CAI pursuit strategy
• Design end-to-end ITSM/ITIL, Service Desk, ServiceNow, Atlassian/JSM, AMS/ASO, Cloud, and Infrastructure architectures
• Create approaches positioning CAI as the preferred vendor with clear work plans and high-level diagrams
• Write and edit proposal content including technical narratives, staffing plans, and pricing assumptions
• Lead or support solutioning workshops with capture teams and subject matter experts
• Collaborate with partner/alliance teams to incorporate platform capabilities and co-sell opportunities
• Identify cost items and sensible assumptions to contain solution risk
• Develop reusable solution assets like reference architectures and pricing templates
• Support orals/BAFO prep and client executive briefings
• Provide technical review and quality control on proposal volumes
• Balance multiple initiatives and mentor other consultants
• Stay current on market trends and emerging capabilities to keep CAI competitive
