Job summary

CAI is a global services firm seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to act as a pre-sales technical architect and proposal writer across IT service lines. You will translate client requirements into winning, technically sound solutions spanning ITSM, Service Desk, ServiceNow, Atlassian/JSM, AMS/ASO, Cloud, and Infrastructure.

The role is full-time and remote, requiring collaboration with business development, capture, and delivery leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of IT services experience with significant experience evaluating RFPs and creating SOWs.
Ability to design and articulate solutions across ITSM/ITIL, IT Service Desk, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, AMS/ASO, Cloud (AWS/Azure), and Infrastructure.
Proven track record writing technical proposal content for government and/or commercial RFPs.
Strong understanding of managed services delivery models, staffing/pricing constructs, and SLA design.
Fluent English with high proficiency in presenting to executive and non-technical audiences.
Ability to summarize technical material using charts, graphs, and diagrams; strong visual design skills.
Power user of Microsoft Word and Office products.
Experience working cross-functionally with capture managers, proposal writers, delivery leads, and partner/alliance teams.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and qualify opportunities for new business and develop/support new lines of business.
Lead solution architecture for pre-sales pursuits and translate requirements into technical staffing and solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop CAI strategy for a pursuit.
Design end-to-end solutions across ITSM/ITIL, ServiceNow, Atlassian/JSM, AMS/ASO, Cloud, and Infrastructure architectures.
Develop approach and high-level diagrams portraying the proposed solution and CAI's value proposition.
Write and edit proposal content – technical narratives, solution overviews, staffing plans, pricing assumptions.
Lead or support solutioning workshops with capture teams and SMEs.
Partner with ServiceNow, Atlassian, AWS, Microsoft, and other partners to incorporate platform capabilities into proposed solutions.
Identify cost items and risks; document assumptions clearly to stay client-focused and compliant.
Maintain reusable solution assets like reference architectures and staffing models.
Support client presentations, BAFOs, and executive briefings with defensible technical positioning.
Provide technical review and quality control on proposal volumes prior to submission.
Multi-task across concurrent initiatives and advise CAI leadership.
