Job summary

CAI, a global services firm, seeks a Senior Solutions Consultant to act as a pre-sales technical architect and proposal writer. You will translate client requirements into winning, technically sound solutions across ITSM, Service Desk, ServiceNow, Atlassian/JSM, AMS, and Cloud platforms while collaborating with Business Development, Capture, and Delivery leadership.

The role emphasizes hands-on solutioning, executive storytelling, and winning proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of IT services experience in evaluating RFPs and creating SOWs in a pre-sales or proposal role
• Experience designing and articulating solutions across ITSM/ITIL, Service Desk, ServiceNow, Atlassian/Jira, AMS/ASO, Cloud (AWS/Azure)
• Proven track record writing technical proposal content for government or commercial RFPs
• Strong understanding of managed services delivery models, staffing and pricing constructs
• Fluency in English with ability to present to executive audiences
• Ability to summarize technical material using charts, graphs, and diagrams

Responsibilities

• Evaluate opportunities and develop/support new lines of business
• Lead solution architecture for pre-sales pursuits and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop CAI strategy for pursuits
• Design end-to-end solutions across ITSM/ITIL, ServiceNow, Atlassian/JSM, AMS/ASO, Cloud and Infrastructure
• Write and edit proposal content in collaboration with proposal writers and capture managers
• Lead or support solutioning workshops with capture teams and subject-matter experts
• Coordinate with partner/alliance teams to incorporate platform capabilities into proposals
• Identify cost impacts and document assumptions to mitigate risk
• Develop reusable solution assets like reference architectures and staffing models
• Support orals/BAFO preparation and executive briefings
• Provide technical review on proposals prior to submission
• Balance multiple initiatives and ensure cross-functional alignment
• Mentor junior consultants and liaise with CAI leadership
• Stay current on AI/automation, ITSM tooling, cloud managed services
