Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to act as a pre-sales technical architect and proposal writer across ITSM, Service Desk, ServiceNow, Atlassian/JSM, AMS/ASO, Cloud, and Infrastructure. This hands-on, client-facing role requires translating client requirements into winning, technically sound solutions while collaborating with BD, Capture, and Delivery leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years in IT services with experience evaluating RFPs and creating SOWs
• Demonstrated ability to design and articulate solutions across ITSM/ITIL, ServiceNow, Atlassian/Jira Service Management, AMS/ASO, Cloud platforms, and Infrastructure
• Proven track record writing technical proposal content for gov and/or commercial RFPs
• Strong understanding of managed services delivery models, staffing/pricing constructs, and SLA design
• Fluent in English with ability to present to executive and non-technical audiences
• Ability to summarize technical material with charts, graphs and diagrams; strong visual design
• Power user of Microsoft Word and Office products
• Experience working cross-functionally with capture managers, proposal writers, and partner teams

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and qualify opportunities for new business and develop CAI collateral for new lines of business
• Lead solution architecture for pre-sales pursuits, translating RFP/RFI requirements into differentiated solutions
• Partner with stakeholders to develop CAI strategy for a pursuit
• Design and document end-to-end solutions across ITSM/ITIL, ServiceNow, Atlassian/JSM, AMS/ASO, Cloud (AWS/Azure) and Infrastructure
• Collaborate with CAI staff to position CAI as the preferred vendor and outline high-level work plans
• Write and edit proposal content—technical narratives, solution overviews, staffing plans, pricing assumptions
• Lead or support solutioning workshops with capture teams and delivery leads
• Partner with ServiceNow, Atlassian, AWS, Microsoft, and other alliances to incorporate capabilities and co-sell opportunities
• Identify cost items and document assumptions to contain solution risk
• Develop reusable solution assets: battlecards, reference architectures, staffing models, pricing templates
• Support orals/BAFO prep, client presentations, and executive briefings with clear positioning
• Provide technical review and quality control on proposal volumes before submission
• Multi-task across initiatives and advise CAI leadership and governance teams
• Stay current on market trends to keep solutions competitive
