Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to act as a pre-sales technical architect and proposal writer across core IT service lines. You will translate client requirements into winning, technically robust solutions for ITSM, ServiceNow, Atlassian/JSM, AMS, cloud, and infrastructure.

The role collaborates with Business Development, Capture, and Delivery leadership to craft strategies, write technical narratives, and deliver executive-ready proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience as a pre-sales technical architect or solution architect with proposal development.
• Ability to translate client requirements into differentiated, compliant technical and staffing solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to executive audiences.
• Proven track record writing technical proposal content for RFPs.
• Experience with ITSM/ITIL, Service Desk, ServiceNow, and cloud/infrastructure domains.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 5+ years in IT services or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead solution architect for pre-sales pursuits and translate RFP/RFI requirements into solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop CAI pursuit strategy and end-to-end designs.
• Document end-to-end solutions across ITSM/ITIL, ServiceNow, Atlassian/JSM, AMS, cloud, and infrastructure.
• Create and edit proposal content—technical narratives, staffing plans, and pricing assumptions.
• Lead or support solutioning workshops with capture teams and experts to shape themes.
• Partner with ServiceNow, Atlassian, AWS/Azure, and other partners to incorporate capabilities.
