Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to define target architectures and multi-year roadmaps for its customer communications platform. You will shape scalable solutions across CVS Health units, guiding modernization efforts and integration with Salesforce, Adobe, and data platforms.

The role emphasizes architecture governance, risk trade-offs, and collaboration with Security, Privacy, Legal, and Engineering teams. Remote work from the continental USA is supported.

Qualifications

• 10+ years technology experience with 5+ years in enterprise/platform/solution architecture.
• Experience architecting large-scale software platforms, cloud infra, integrations, APIs, data flows.
• Hands-on architecture in customer communications or marketing tech domains.
• Experience with Salesforce and Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Experience designing cloud-based applications, preferably on GCP.
• Knowledge of data architecture, identity resolution, and high-volume data systems.
• Familiarity with compliance and privacy considerations in outbound communications.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture and multi-year roadmaps across CVS Health units.
• Architect scalable platforms for customer communications and journey management.
• Guide platform modernization across Adobe, Salesforce, and other tech.
• Design API-led, event-driven integrations with enterprise data and apps.
• Translate business capabilities into concrete technical designs and data models.
• Lead governance, standards, and design patterns for reusable architectures.
• Engage executives with architectural trade-offs, risks, and investments.
• Explore AI use cases in customer communications with appropriate controls.
