CVS Health is seeking a highly technical architect to lead enterprise, platform, and solution architecture for customer communications. You will define target-state architecture, roadmaps, and collaborate with engineering on integrations, data flows, APIs, and cloud capabilities across CVS Health businesses.

The role emphasizes scalable, compliant architectures with AI-enabled potential, across Adobe, Salesforce, consent management, and enterprise messaging.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology experience in enterprise, platform, or solution architecture roles.
• Experience with Salesforce, Adobe Experience Cloud, and related enterprise customer engagement technologies.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns including REST APIs, event-driven architectures, messaging, and data flows.
• Ability to guide engineering teams through complex designs without being the primary developer.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, translating business requirements into scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture and multi-year roadmaps for CVS Health’s customer communications and marketing tech.
• Architect scalable platforms for campaigns, personalization, data, consent, and archives.
• Guide modernization toward Adobe, Salesforce, and other platforms.
• Design API-led, event-driven integrations with enterprise data, identity, and cloud services.
• Translate business capabilities into concrete technical designs (APIs, data elements, relationships).
• Architect outbound channels (email, SMS, push, and other channels).
• Embed consent, preferences, regulatory controls, and archival capabilities across the platform.
• Evaluate AI use cases for next-best action and audience intelligence with governance.
