Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology experience in enterprise/solution architecture.
• Experience architecting large-scale software platforms, cloud infra, integrations, APIs, and data flows.
• Hands-on architecture within customer communications or marketing tech domains.
• Experience with Salesforce and Adobe Experience Cloud or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, event-driven patterns, messaging platforms, JSON.
• Experience designing cloud-based applications, preferably on GCP.
• Understanding of data models, identity resolution, and high-volume data ecosystems.
• Knowledge of customer consent, preferences, privacy requirements, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture and multi-year roadmaps for CVS Health's customer communications ecosystem.
• Architect scalable platforms across customer communications, campaigns, governance, and data flows.
• Guide platform modernization beyond Adobe technologies to Salesforce and other platforms.
• Design API-led, event-driven integrations connecting data, identity, cloud, and apps.
• Translate business capabilities into implementable technical designs including data models and APIs.
• Architect outbound channels (email, SMS, push) and consent/compliance controls.
• Guide vendor assessments, proofs of concept, and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Establish architecture governance, standards, and review processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and senior leaders to communicate trade-offs.
