Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a senior SCADA Design Engineer to lead the in-house SCADA design for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects.

You will produce and review drawings, reinforce SOLV standards, and support commissioning readiness and long-term reliability. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with OT teams, and drive standardization across projects while ensuring NERC compliance and high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Senior SCADA design experience for large-scale renewable energy projects.
• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or energy fields required.
• Ability to draft and review engineering drawings for SCADA, networking, electrical and substation designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCADA design workstreams and produce high-quality drawings for PV, BESS, and wind projects.
• Define and continuously improve SCADA design standards and best practices.
• Review project scope documents and approve detailed design documentation.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through technical reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with SOLV OT teams to define hardware requirements and mitigate risks.
• Drive standardization and process improvements to reduce engineering effort and improve reliability.
• Prepare project documentation in Visio and AutoCAD; support FATs and customer reviews.
• Coordinate with customers and field teams for commissioning and handoff.
