Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior SCADA Design Lead to own in-house SCADA designs for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects. The role is fully remote and involves leading design reviews, mentoring engineers, and ensuring adherence to SOLV standards and NERC requirements.

You will develop comprehensive drawings, diagrams, and BOMs in AutoCAD/Visio, collaborate with OT teams, and drive continuous improvement across projects to boost reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or energy systems.
• Experience drafting SCADA, networking, and substation designs.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Layer 2/3 networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead SCADA design workstreams for utility-scale PV, BESS, and Wind; produce drawings and BOMs.
• Develop, review, and enforce SCADA design standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with SOLV OT on hardware requirements.
• Lead FATs and customer-facing design reviews; manage risk and schedule.
