Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Prevailing Wage Compliance Specialist to oversee federal, state, and local labor compliance for national projects. The role requires expert guidance on wage determinations, apprentice utilization, and payroll documentation across multi-project environments.

The position offers fully remote work with travel to SOLV offices or jobsites as needed, and requires strong leadership, audit readiness, and regulatory tracking capabilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with labor compliance expertise.
• 5+ years of compliance on federal/state funded construction projects.
• Lead, senior, or supervisory experience guiding other professionals.
• Knowledge of DBRA, DOL, prevailing wage, apprenticeships, PLAs, public works.
• Prevailing wage enforcement, certified payroll audits, risk assessment, investigations.
• Experience across multiple projects and regions with accountability for deadlines.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and integrity in regulatory matters.
• Proficiency with labor compliance/payroll systems and MS Office tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication for audits and reporting.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide national labor compliance leadership across projects and contractors.
• Independently manage complex prevailing wage obligations for self-perform work and subs.
• Review and audit DOL classification requests to ensure compliance.
• Interpret complex labor compliance requirements, including wage determinations, fringe benefit, apprenticeships, PLAs.
• Conduct proactive audits and risk assessments to identify issues.
• Serve as primary contact for audits and inquiries with leadership coordination.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on wage laws and public works requirements.
