Job summary

HPE Aruba Networking seeks a Senior Presales Systems Engineer to support Maryland/DC customers, working remotely. You will partner with Territory Managers to design and present end-to-end networking solutions, deliver PoCs and workshops, and develop technical proposals that meet business needs.

You will build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, while staying ahead of emerging networking technologies and competitive trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or pre-sales experience supporting enterprise networking environments.
• Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical, business-focused solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, partners, sales teams, and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with Territory Managers to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
• Designing end-to-end networking solutions that address customer business and technical requirements.
• Delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Developing technical proposals, solution architectures, and implementation recommendations.
• Positioning HPE Networking solutions against competitive offerings by clearly articulating technical advantages and business value.
• Building and maintaining long‑term relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Supporting channel partners and demand‑generation activities within the territory.
• Maintaining a strong understanding of emerging networking technologies and competitive market trends.
• Managing a healthy sales pipeline while supporting complex enterprise opportunities from discovery through deployment.
