Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE Networking) is seeking a Sr. Presales Systems Engineer in the United States (New York) who can translate business goals into technical networking and security solutions for diverse customers.

You will provide pre-sales technical consultation, design architectures, develop BOMs, deliver product demonstrations, and guide customers from concept to proof of concept, collaborating closely with sales teams, partners, and executives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a technical/pre-sales role.
• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in WAN/Data Center/Security/Cloud solutions and in designing/engineering/consulting on such networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical consultation in design, engineering, sale, and implementation of sophisticated products and solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams and partners to assess applications and deliver optimum systems solutions.
• Develop proposals in response to RFP/RFI/RFQ and grow business.
• Design architectures, BOMs, and implementation specs for next-generation networks.
• Engage with customers to influence technology strategies using Juniper tech demonstrations and PoCs.
• Build and maintain relationships with customer IT decision-makers and partners.
• Deliver training and support to partners and customer engineers.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive solutions to address real-world challenges.
