Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP seeks a Principal Presales Systems Engineer to drive technical sales for advanced networking and security solutions. You will translate business goals into technical designs, engaging with executives and partners to shape winning proposals while staying ahead of industry trends.

The role emphasizes deep networking, WAN, data center expertise and hands-on solution architecture in a remote work setting. Extensive travel may be required to support customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a technical/pre-sales role as a Sales or Systems Engineer.
• Bachelor's and/or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Extensive experience in WAN, Data Center, Security, and Cloud technologies.
• Extensive experience designing/operating large scale WAN backbones.
• Deep knowledge of Juniper or competing vendors and related use cases.
• Strong communication skills with exec/C-level engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical consultation for sophisticated products and solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams and partners to assess applications of products.
• Respond to RFP/RFQ/RFI and develop viable proposals.
• Develop architecture designs, BOMs, and implementation specs for next‑gen networks.
• Showcase technologies in technical sales presentations, demos, PoCs, and trials.
• Build and maintain relationships with IT leaders and partners.
• Deliver training and support to partners and customers.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and innovative solutions.
