Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Network Sales Engineer to join the Service Provider Pre-Sales Engineering team. This is a remote opportunity with a preference for candidates in New Jersey, Texas, or Virginia.

You will drive technical consulting, build trusted advisor relationships with account teams, support POC tests and RFP responses, and communicate complex solutions to both technical and executive audiences. Travel is approximately 40–50%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of networking experience in a customer-facing pre-sales role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field, or significant equivalent experience.
• Hands-on skills for proof-of-concept tests with new products and technologies.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication, able to engage technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to work in virtual, multinational teams with diverse stakeholders.
• Comfortable traveling 40–50% of time.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical consulting in new and existing opportunities for routing, automation, and cross-segment tech.
• Build relationships with account management and engineering teams.
• Assist with requirements gathering, solution design guidance, and POC tests and RFP responses.
• Serve as a go-to technical advisor for product portfolio, trends, and competitive landscape.
• Translate customer business needs into technical solutions and communicate to executives.
