Job summary
Advocate Health is seeking a Senior Leader to direct Mid-Revenue Cycle operations within our facility coding and denials programs in South Carolina. You will supervise a team, drive standards, and collaborate with clinical, IT, and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant, efficient coding and denial management.
The role requires 8+ years in mid-revenue cycle, coding or HIM, with 2+ years in leadership, RHIA preferred.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in mid-revenue cycle operations, coding, or HIM
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a large integrated healthcare system
- Experience with facility coding, professional coding, and HIM workflows
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations within the assigned function area to align with enterprise goals
- Evaluate processes to improve efficiency and standardize best practices across the Mid-Revenue Cycle
- Ensure regulatory compliance and confidentiality of patient records
- Monitor KPIs and drive data-driven improvements
- Leverage healthcare technology and analytics to enhance efficiency
- Engage cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and patient safety
- Manage and develop a team through hiring, evaluations, and growth opportunities
- Lead strategic initiatives and timelines for system enhancements
