Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a seasoned leader for the 13246 Enterprise Revenue Cycle - Integrity Operations: Facility Coding Denials. This full-time role directs daily operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives standardization across the Mid-Revenue Cycle to maximize efficiency and accuracy.

The position requires 8+ years in mid-revenue cycle operations with 2+ years in leadership within a large healthcare system. RHIA preferred; bachelor’s in HIM or related field.

Qualifications

• Facility coding and HIM workflow knowledge including ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS.
• Experience with third-party reimbursement programs and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient with EHR systems and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Strong data analysis to identify patterns and improvements.
• Leadership experience in a large healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Lead daily operations within the function area to align with goals.
• Operational Efficiency: Improve processes to boost productivity and standardize best practices.
• Regulatory Compliance & Confidentiality: Ensure compliance and safeguard patient data.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Use KPIs to track trends and drive improvements.
• Technology Utilization: Leverage healthcare tech to enhance decision-making.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work with clinical, IT, Compliance, and RC leaders.
• Team Leadership & Development: Hire, coach, and develop staff for high performance.
• Strategic Initiatives & Execution: Drive system enhancements and timelines.
