Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced leader for the Enterprise Revenue Cycle - Integrity Operations: Facility Coding Denials. The role focuses on operational leadership, process improvement, and compliance within a hospital coding and denials environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in mid-revenue cycle operations, with at least 2 years of leadership in a large system and a RHIA-preferred certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in mid-revenue cycle operations, coding, or HIM.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a large integrated healthcare system.
• Bachelor’s degree in health information management, healthcare administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations within the assigned function area.
• Evaluate processes to improve efficiency and align with best practices.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Monitor KPIs to measure performance and drive improvements.
• Leverage healthcare technology and analytics tools for decision-making.
• Collaborate with clinical, IT, compliance, and revenue cycle leaders.
• Hire, coach and develop team members; provide growth opportunities.
• Lead strategic initiatives to improve operational effectiveness.
